Medical Writer


We have an outstanding opportunity for a medical writer who has experience in managed markets or who is willing to adapt his/her skills to supporting the “business of health care.

The medical writer’s primary responsibility is to write and edit market research reports, educational materials for managed markets/communications agency publications, surveys, and training and promotional materials. All content must follow current AMA, editorial, and/or client style guidelines and must be written in a fair and balanced manner, while also meeting client specifications. The medical writer is responsible for all background preparation, literature searches, preparation of tables and graphs and interpretation of all scientific / medical documents for assigned communications. The medical writer will also be responsible for assisting project managers with writing, editing, and proofreading documents.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in English or journalism; with medical and or pharmaceutical experience required. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of medical writing/editing experience, and must be proficient in the use of the Office suite of products (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with Reference Manager and/or the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with clients.

New Business Development Manager


We have an outstanding opportunity for a New Business Development Manager to utilize their superior prospecting, sales and account management skills within the Managed Markets arena of the biopharmaceutical industry. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience within a managed markets, marketing, or consulting organization or agency in the healthcare industry. Must be self-motivated, have superior written and oral communication skills and be able to travel (by car) 35-50 percent of the workweek to meet with customers.

Primary responsibilities include:

  1. Prospecting, researching and identifying potential clients within assigned territory.
  2. Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of potential client’s business goals and challenges.
  3. Understanding Emron’s capabilities and how to apply them to solve client’s business issues.
  4. Developing and presenting well conceived, high quality proposals that meet or exceed customer requirements, resulting in a win-win outcome.
  5. Communicating project requirements to the Emron staff, to help assure that the company is able to deliver top quality & timely programs to the complete satisfaction of our customers.
  6. Reports to the Executive VP, Business Development & Client Engagement.

Account Group Supervisor


We have an outstanding opportunity for an Account Group Supervisor to utilize their superior account management, marketing, and communication skills and experience in the managed care / /pharmaceutical area.  Primary responsibilities include:

  • Autonomous management of ongoing projects including client interactions, verbal and written interactions, and internal agency meetings
  • Development of strong working relationship with clients and coworkers
  • Initiation and management of new projects
  • Management of budgets
  • Participation in the development of innovative tactical ideas that meet client’s managed markets marketing objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or related field with:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years professional advertising agency experience
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical  industry experience
  • Experience as an Account Executive or Account Supervisor at a pharmaceutical advertising agency
  • Experience in autonomously managing projects from start to finish
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated skills  in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (advanced PowerPoint and presentation development skills would be a bonus)
