Margie has been working in the field of medical communications since 2001. Her background in nursing research and data management provides a unique foundation to her abilities as a medical writer/editor. She has written content for health care provider, patient, and pharmaceutical account manager educational materials in the form of patient educational tools, slide presentations, monographs, advertising copy, sales aids, and newsletters. Margie has written across many therapeutic areas throughout her career as a medical writer, including oncology, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, overactive bladder, breast and colorectal cancer, arthritis, and pain management. As Director of Editorial, Margie leads a team of talented writers and editors and is involved in all projects that are undertaken at EMRON.
Margie received her nursing degree from Columbia-Presbyterian School of Nursing and an MS in Parent-Child Nursing from Rutgers University. She is certified as an Editor in the Life Sciences and completed the American Medical Writers Association’s core certification program.
