For nearly 3 decades under Emery’s direction, EMRON has driven access and reimbursement for customers in competitive markets. Emery’s career spans more than 35 years in the pharmaceutical and health care industry. He began at Hoffmann La Roche, spending more than 17 years in a variety of sales and marketing functions. He then served as Executive Vice President at Health Learning Systems, where he developed and managed a clinical trial research division, Clinical Experience Systems (CES), and handled numerous major educational programs in cardiovascular and gastrointestinal disease.

EMRON was established in 1987 and was part of IMS Health from 1994 to 2000. Emery ran EMRON for IMS, developing numerous communications programs, including The Contraception Report, the Novartis Pharmacy Benefit Report, and the Risk Report, among other major publishing projects. EMRON played a vital role in the early development of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, acting as the Academy’s business and management partner and assisting in the development of their annual meetings and foundation activities.

Returning the company to private ownership in 2000, EMRON has continued to focus on its original charter and experience in health care communications, research, and program development of cost-sensitive markets.
